Think About It
It was April 2022, when Billy Garaff went into cardiac arrest in the middle of a city championship hockey game in Aspen, Colorado. He was dead for 16 minutes on the ice. His wife Isabella was in the crowd, and remembers the moment – “I just yelled, Jesus, help him.” Billy said his wife’s prayer is what saved him. But while he was physically dead, he was never more spiritually alive
Before Billy stepped onto the ice that day, Billy prayed for protection. What he didn’t know was that prayer would set the stage for one of the most profound events of his life
Just moments into the game, Billy collapsed. His heart had stopped. Chaos broke out around him, but as people scrambled to save him, Billy says he was already encountering something supernatural. He said, “I could smell the sweetest smell, I felt the Holy Spirit leading me.” He describes leaving his body and then being enveloped in peace and love so powerful it felt more real than life itself.
Billy describes his near-death experience as a journey into God’s presence, an encounter that left him forever changed. During his 16-minute collapse, Garaffa reported leaving his body, feeling surrounded by peace and immense love, and encountering God. And God spoke to him, reminding him of the most important commandment: to love God with all his heart, soul, and mind, and to love his neighbor as himself (Mk.12:30-31).
Billy’s testimony is a reminder that God is always working, even when we can’t see it, and that His love is a transformative force in our lives. “The war is won,” Billy declares. “He’s inviting us into His love.”
Think about that!

The Priority of the King
Matthew 22 Jesus states in verse 37-39 that the greatest commandment is to “love the Lord with all of your heart, soul, mind and strength”. However, Jesus starts with the why? Believers should love the Lord with all they have and are because those who fail to put him first by disobedience find themselves destroyed.…
The Power of the King
~ Matthew 27:50-54 And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died…
Where did God come from?
There are many wonderful things about God that we cannot understand, such as how He is everywhere at once. He has always been alive and will always remain alive. We, too, were designed to always be alive. May we remember that we will always be alive, and that we would not be like the foolish…
